We bought the Compound building in August 2007 and spent our first season running the 40,000-volume romance-novel shop that came with it. The ski shop opened in October 2008, and every season since we’ve grown the inventory and the tune bench. Family owned, locally stocked, and always run by people who’d rather be on the mountain than behind a counter — which is why we make sure both sides of that counter get you out there faster.
